1. What is a "vector" graphic and what does it have to do with my logo?
A vector graphic is created in a vector program (usually Illustrator). Vector graphics are "object-oriented" graphics as opposed to bitmap graphics. What this means to you and the quality of your logo is that vector graphics can be stretched and sized and retain their line quality, while bitmap graphics will pixellate and distort. You can shrink a vector graphic down to the size of a postage stamp or enlarge to a billboard size and it will still retain it's line quality. Vector graphics also look much better on devices (monitors and printers) with higher resolution and require less memory than bit-mapped images do.
So, it is imperative that your logo is in vector format for a variety of reasons. We recommend having your existing logo put into vector format if it is not and if you are just creating a logo – be sure that a vector image is what your designer will deliver.

6. Can I manage my own web site?
You can. This is called "content management". Because it is costly to set up in the beginning - we usually recommend a combination management system. What this means is that most businesses do not change thier "about" or "contact" page etc.. very often but we do come across clients who need to maintain their own photo galleries or on-line calanders etc...So to keep costs down - we can build the backend for certain sections of your web site (for you to manage) and we can update the other pages on the occassions that they change.
